Who is he?

Jeff McBride, a three time award winner at the International Grand Prix of Magic in Monte Carlo, named Magician of the Year by The Academy of Magical Arts (The Magic Castle), is widely recognized as a foremost innovator and most exciting performer in contemporary magic. Naming him "Vegas' Best" Magician several years ago, the Las Vegas Review Journal wrote: "Light years ahead of the pack… McBride is easily the most exciting and mesmerizing magician I've seen in years." For several years, McBride headlined at Caesars Magical Empire in Las Vegas, where he was voted critics' choice as Best Magician in Las Vegas. He recently toured South America with the world’s largest magic show, “The Illusionists,” and his McBride’s Wonderground magic nightclub has just completed its fourth year of performances in Las Vegas.

In addition to his work as a performer, McBride is a much sought-after lecturer and workshop leader for such diverse groups as The Smithsonian, The Disney Institute, the Omega Institute and many others. What will he teach?

In his Penguin Live lecture, we begin in the secret library of the Magic and Mystery School in Las Vegas where Jeff talks about how he developed his iconic act.

He also shares his incredible work with card manipulation, even including suggestions for beginning manipulators to perform while mastering more challenging moves.

And, you learn techniques for preparing an audience to experience mystery, as demonstrated by his wife Abbi, through the use of Gift Magic.

She also treats us to her performance of the Best Ever Knots Off Silk, and she and Jeff offer multiple presentations for this timeless, and beautiful effect.
