Here is an act that I sincerely concede as being the best all-around modus operandi ever offered to the profession. The strong point is that this effect is done in real time! The original effect was sold in the Sphinx for $50.00 back in the '40s. By today's standards, it would cost almost $800.00. It was later improved by psychic Jason Michaels and used during his career. The effect is as follows: The performer passes out small cards on which spectators are requested to write their questions and sign their full name. This completed, the cards are collected by the performer, placed in small envelopes, and sealed. 

On returning to the stage, the first envelope is placed to the performer's forehead and answered. At the conclusion of the answer, the end of the envelope is cut and the card is withdrawn from envelope. Both the card and envelope are immediately returned to the original writer, without exchanges of any kind. In this manner, every question is answered, and in its proper sequence.

NOW GET THE FACTS: Absolutely no apparatus of any description is used (may be worked in a bathing suit). No confederates or assistants need be employed as this is strictly a one-man feature. No switches or exchange of questions takes place at any time, and original questions never leave the audience's sight for an instant. 

There are no impression devices of any kind! No pre-show work or use of the Internet in any way.

No palming (as you have nothing to palm), no sleights or suspicious moves. Your hands never approach your body. No reading 'one ahead or one behind' methods, as every question is answered in its proper sequence. No dummy questions or plants. Envelopes are of the ordinary coin envelope variety and perfectly opaque. Cards, envelopes and scissors are the only properties employed during the entire presentation. At the conclusion, you have nothing to "get rid of." All you possess is a pair of scissors — and a bewildered audience.

Positively NO CHEMICALS or hidden light sources are used to make the envelopes transparent!

May be performed with equal success for a small or large audience, on the stage, in the parlor, or for private work. Also great for fairs. A complete routine that is extremely practical, reliable and foolproof. Its operation is simplicity itself, and may be presented in its entirety a few minutes after the instructions are read. This effect is truly a masterpiece and is most heartily recommended to any mentalist contemplating this line of work. 

With this routine and instructions supplied, you have a complete act suitable for any showplace world-wide, or may be used in conjunction with other features. This is a strictly one-man feature, but assistants may be employed in the actual modus operandi with great success if desired. For private readings, this principle cannot be excelled upon, and is fool-proof. You will use it in your show, and in your private work! Apparently a 'miracle' to those who witness it, as no loop-hole is left open. Complete routine, with lecture, additional tests, and presentation. Here is a principle that is regarded as the "LAST WORD" in the mind-reading business. 

The performer can also duplicate simple designs sealed inside the envelope on a drawing pad.

Remember, both the card and envelope can be examined by the spectators and nothing will be found amiss. Baffling beyond words!
