The What

The deck is shuffled by the audience, and then one spectator thinks of a number and secretly shares that number with the rest of the audience. The magician shows the spectator cards one by one, and they remember the card at their secret number. The magician then shuffles and cuts the deck before handing the deck back to the spectator. The second spectator remembers the card located at the secret number. The deck is shuffled and given to a third spectator who cuts to the middle of the deck and remembers a card there. The deck is then divided among all the spectators and thoroughly mixed and shuffled. The magician then tosses groups of cards onto the table while the first two spectators randomly call stop. The cards they stop at are removed from the deck. The last spectator takes the deck under the table, removes a single card from it, and puts that card on the table.
